I have a serious
addiction affinity for beauty products, and my brain is seriously overflowing with the reviews I silently give to different products & services in the beauty industry (is that strange?).
I am, I admit, often influenced by the clever marketing tactic abounding in this industry — after all, aren’t skincare/makeup companies all about selling their idea of the perfect product in pretty packaging? Sometimes, however, there are products that stand up to their claims (when they’re not, I have no qualms in returning them). I can go on and on about this, but I’ll try to space it out in my new beauty tidbits & reviews posts.
Tonight, at my bedtime, I am highlighting my sleep-time skin saver of recent, Ren’s Omega 3 Night Repair Serum. I bought this over a month ago at my local C.O.Bigelow (they don’t have online shopping, but I also found it at Sephora). At $60 it isn’t cheap for a serum, but not too bad, and think it’s quite worth it (I also used a $10 off coupon at C.O.Bigelow as an added bonus — they are often on the bottom of your receipts from there!).
After cleansing my face at night, I apply a small amount of the Ren serum (it doesn’t take a lot) and immediately my face has a lovely glow - not greasy, more dewy and healthy looking. This is in addition to the wonderfully soft skin it gives me, which I feel is evident even in the morning (I can tell a difference on the nights I don’t use it — rare, but happens!). Could it be that I’ve also noticed a reduction in a chicken pox scar I’ve had on my forehead since 2nd grade? Perhaps this is the Omega 3s at work! Hmm, either way, this one will be in my nightly line-up for awhile!
